ModJewels was made for the Catamount Game Jam 2025 - Theme: Rock Bottom

It was made in Godot, and all assets were made by me.

Goal:

Dig deep into the earth to gain funds. Purchase a variety of modules to add to your machine that allow you to dig deeper and for longer.

Controls:

toggle screen shake - P

reset high-score - control, shift, r

Shop: 

Select - Left Click

Cancel - Right Click

Rotate Piece: A, D (or rotate buttons in shop UI)

Piloting Machine:

Speed up - S

Slow Down - W

Rotate Machine - A, D

Notes:

The red X in the shop closes the shop menu and starts a new run with your newly bought upgrades.

Some modules can only be placed in certain orientations and have restrictions on what can be placed on each side of them. Keep this in mind when constructing your machine

Sorry about it being a download and not web browser playable. Restrictions on WebGL texture sizes massively tanked performance for web version.
